College of Integral Studies is an independent learning
community in the countryside of southern Sweden with a
growing international profile. In response to the
above and other fundamental questions, we provide a
unique nine-month program of integral studies. Unlike
most traditional educations, we provide a supportive
learning culture where students creatively integrate
their body, mind, soul, and spirit. >

educational approach is interactive and
transformative. From a solid integral framework, we
cultivate multiple intelligences such as emotional and
spiritual, in addition to intellectual. Themes like
the Integral Philosophy, Spiral Dynamics,
life-affirming leadership, and creative expression,
together with daily contemplative practices,
strengthen students' potential to address personal and
global issues. Through a unique university course on
Sustainability, within our cooperation with
Luleå University, students also experience
alternative projecteering. >

College is also a community sharing the values of
living sustainably and evolving spiritually. Students
cook ecologically grown vegetarian food together and
make decisions concerning their common living space
through democratic structures. Spiritual practices,
such as meditation or yoga, and working in the
community are important parts of our Integral approach

year's program runs from the first of September 2003
to the beginning of June 2004. At the end of the nine
months, students who have shown exceptional promise in
team-building, leadership, and creativity may be
invited to apply to join next year's leadership
team.
