Facsimile web page
The
Sudbury
Valley
School
http://www.sudval.org/

- This webpage
was taken from an early webpage posted by Sudbury Valley School
itself. At the time (1997 or 8) I began creating facsimile pages
on various alternative schools, inviting members of such schools
to tell me if they didn't want theirs listed. So my listing of
this school went unchallenged for quite a few years. But now Dan
has asked me to take it off, saying that no one else may speak for
the school, so I hasten to comply. I am leaving this much of the
site here, because of the decades-long connection we once had in
the context of really good alternative schools, and true freedom
of education. It would not be right, in my book, to omit mention
of this outstanding school.

- The school's
current website is marvelous, and really needs to be visited in
order to gain a clear impression of its scope and excellence. The
URL above still takes you there.

for a page of essays about SVS by Hanna and Dan Greenberg, Mimsy
Sadowsky and others on the school. The article by Hanna on sources
and possible resolutions of conflict with families is especially
enlightening to this web author.
